Accent lighting is a focused layer within permanent holiday lighting—used to highlight specific parts of your home rather than washing the entire façade. Think targeted light on peaks, columns, entryways, architectural details, and select rooflines where you want shape and depth to show after sunset.

At Horizon Lighting FL, accent lighting is built using the TruLight permanent outdoor lighting platform. The LED track is mounted cleanly along roof edges and trim so it’s discreet in daylight and precise at night. You can run a warm white “everyday” look, subtle color for weekends, or coordinated scenes for holidays and events—without hanging temporary lights.

Important note: we do not install landscape lighting (path lights, uplights in beds, tree lighting). This page is for home-mounted, roofline-and-trim accent lighting as part of a permanent holiday lighting system.

Accent lighting is ideal for premium single-family homes in Broward and Palm Beach counties where curb appeal matters and neighborhood rules are real. Your accent lighting project starts with that FREE in-home demo. We walk the elevations with you, identify which lines and features should be accented, and test visibility in real time. From there, we design a layout that looks intentional—balanced left-to-right, consistent spacing, and aligned to the architecture.

Installation includes mounting the TruLight track and LEDs on the home, routing and securing wiring for a finished appearance, and setting up zones so you can control different sections independently (for example: front entry vs. peaks vs. side elevation). We finalize by programming a set of starter scenes—typically a warm white everyday look plus a few holiday and event options.

Typical timeline: most homes move from demo to approved design quickly, then to installation on a scheduled date once materials and layout are confirmed. Install time depends on the home’s size and how many elevations are included, but our goal is always a clean one-day install whenever the scope allows.
